A long and enjoyable process

Hola:

This blog is dedicated to describe the visual effects done for the short film "Falso despertar", directed by Ana Fresco and finally available in November 2008.

This surreal fantasy and catastrophe film contain more than 70 visual effects shots ranging from very simple rig and prop removal to fully CG shots with complex destruction and animation. We have CG set extensions, destruction, flying characters as well as a 32 seconds, CG dream sequence, all of then realized in fully HD, 2K resolution.

I've prepared some cool before/after and off camera clips to fully explain some of the techniques and tricks employed in the making of this film.

Thanks for watching it, and hope you enjoy it.
